Here are the stages so far for Idea Farming. Each stage or step will have its own page. On the page we will outline what we tried to do, what happened, and our reflection. There will also be reflections and pics from students on each step.
STEP ONE: Sitting at the table- What are we hungry for? What are our needs?
STEP TWO: Seed Window Shopping: What are examples of innovation and filling needs? (This will also include our ideas about creating a community space)
STEP THREE: Cow Pie Kitchen: finding the good in bad ideas.
STEP FOUR: Picking your crop: How to find an idea that works for your need, you, your group, your community.
STEP FIVE: Scarecrows vs. Crows: Defending your crop (idea) vs. Crows who are pecking at your idea.
STEP SIX: Getting a deed for your farm: Vetting your idea with the local bankers (teachers/adults)
STEP SEVEN: Housewarming Party: sharing your new farm with your neighbors.
STEP EIGHT: (This is where we are at now) FARMING (We need to talk about or figure out how students share/document their farm and idea)
